girl with a pearl
I'm trying to break the ice with watercolors by painting something familiar.
hope it works....
Its the 2nd time i paint vermeers girl with a pearl earing;on a larger scale this time 20*15 inch. previous one was A4.
flamingos
there's quite a bit of gold in the flamingos background though it doesn't show in the pic. lost in translation.

Intricate
zoom shot.
I'm trying to step out of the box... tripping!
I'm also having a go at acrylics which are way way outside my comfort zone.
This is larger than my regulars, it's a 16*20 inch canvas panel.
also has quite a bit of metalic GOLD- in his robe- which my camera can't seem to catch.

Dorian Gray
It's been a while since i've done a book painting.
I was reading Oscar Wildes "the picture of Dorian Gray"
which ended up as part of the setup for this painting.
I'm not quite sure it's finished though. :p
