hi, thank you so much! it's true i've not had a chance to enter an art class or workshop, but if they're available near you, then that would be great. also the internets a pretty good tool. you'll find alot of online tutorials and how to, not to mention forums and artists willing to interact and give pointers. wetcanvas.com was alot of help for me. watching others work, blogs,artist sites, and visting galleries if possible is great. now painting itself once you get your things ready don't worry too much about getting it right, enjoy painting. you'll eventually get better if you keep at it. you can only go up. practice is key. best of luck.
